Alessandro Pigati, among other Bocconi Researchers, Wins Prestigious ERC Starting Grant
The European Research Council (ERC) has announced its 2024 Starting Grants, with three Bocconi researchers - Andrea Celli, Alessandro Pigati, and Carlo Schwarz - securing grants for their groundbreaking projects.
This recognition, awarded to early-career researchers, brings Bocconi's total ERC-funded projects to 64 and highlights its leadership in innovation and research excellence across multiple disciplines.
The three projects, totaling over 4 million euros, cover a range of topics, from artificial intelligence and machine learning to mathematics and social network analysis, showcasing Bocconi's breadth and depth of expertise.
For the Department of Decision Sciences, Alessandro Pigati will tackle mathematical challenges in the study of minimal submanifolds through his MAGNETIC project.
