Professor Simone Padoan has been named Associate Editor of the Journal of the Royal Statistical Society: Series B, recognizing his research excellence and international standing in the field of statistics.

Elia Bruè, with Aaron Naber (Princeton IAS) and Daniele Semola (ETH Zurich), has won the Frontiers of Science Award 2025 from the International Congress of Basic Science (ICBS) for their work on fundamental groups and Milnor’s Conjecture. They will receive the award in July 2025 in Beijing.

Professors Alessandro Pigati and Elia Bruè have been selected as members of the EMS Young Academy (EMYA) for the 2025-2028 term.
