Elia Bruè Named Member of the Institute for Advanced Study
Elia Bruè, from Bocconi University’s Department of Decision Sciences, has been selected as a Member of the Institute for Advanced Study (IAS) for the 2025–2026 academic year. This prestigious recognition highlights the relevance of his scientific work and will allow him to deepen his research while engaging with leading international scholars. Bruè stated that it is a privilege to return to the IAS and continue his activity within such an inspiring community.
Founded in 1930, the IAS is one of the world’s most renowned centers for basic research, welcoming scientists across disciplines each year. Its community has included numerous distinguished academics, among them Nobel laureates and Fields Medal recipients. The Department of Decision Sciences at Bocconi University is very proud of this further recognition obtained by Professor Bruè, which represents not only an honor for his career but also a new opportunity for Bocconi to contribute to the global dialogue in mathematics and decision sciences.
