The inter-ministerial association Uni-Italia, has published the national study “International Students in Italy: Main Features and Economic Impact - 2023,” which analyzes the presence of international students in Italian higher studies Institutions with the aim of providing insights into the negative effects of declining population and chronic shortages in some strategic productive sectors for the country.

The core of the study is a survey compiled by Elena Poli and Jacopo De Tullio based on a sample of about 2,700 foreign students regularly enrolled in 32 Italian universities.
