We are proud to announce that Professors Alessandro Pigati and Elia Bruè have been selected as members of the EMS Young Academy (EMYA) for the 2025-2028 term, a position they will hold for the next four years.

The EMS Young Academy, an initiative of the European Mathematical Society, aims to support and recognise outstanding young mathematicians across Europe. Each year, 30 members are chosen to help shape the priorities of the European mathematical community, organise scientific events, and foster innovative collaborations. Being part of the EMYA is a prestigious honour, recognising not only scientific excellence but also leadership potential in research.

The selection of Professors Pigati and Bruè is a significant achievement for our Department, highlighting Bocconi’s central role in advancing high-level mathematical research. Congratulations to both on this well-deserved recognition!
