Antonio De Rosa
I am an Associate Professor in mathematical analysis at Bocconi University. Prior to joining Bocconi, I was an Associate Professor (2023-2024) in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Maryland, College Park, an Assistant Professor at the University of Maryland (2020-2023), an Assistant Professor and Courant Instructor (2017-2020) at the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences, New York University. I obtained my Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Zurich in 2017 with distinction.
My research has been recognized with the 2023 Maryland Research Excellence and the Carlo Ciliberto Prize 2019, and with about 3 million euro in awards such as: an Air Force Office of Scientific Research (AFOSR) grant, an NSF CAREER Award, two NSF DMS Awards, and an AMS Simons travel grant.
Currently, I am the PI of the ERC Starting Grant "ANisotropic GEometric VAriational problems: existence, regularity and uniqueness" [ANGEVA, 2023–2028].
